BIOGRAPHY

Ailsa Page is a professional MC, speaker and marketing strategist who brings warmth, intelligence and genuine connection to every event she leads.

With more than 25 years’ experience working with businesses, government, education and community organisations across Australia, Ailsa is known for her ability to read a room, guide an audience with confidence, and ensure events run seamlessly, professionally and with purpose.

After founding AP Marketing Works in 1999 and growing it into an award-winning consultancy over 25 years, Ailsa is now entering a new chapter through Ailsa Page Consulting—focusing her expertise on high-impact speaking, professional MC work, strategic marketing advisory and coaching. This evolution allows her to bring together her deep commercial experience with her natural presence on stage, supporting organisations and event hosts who value clarity, connection and outcomes.

Ailsa’s extensive background in marketing strategy gives her a rare edge as an MC. She understands not just what needs to be said on stage, but why it matters, how audiences engage, and how to create flow, energy and momentum across an entire program. Her career spans professional services, small business, local and state government, education, festivals and community events, enabling her to confidently host events for business audiences, women’s networks, multicultural groups and community gatherings alike.

Throughout her career, Ailsa has designed and delivered large-scale programs such as the Digital Enterprise Program for Greater Shepparton, worked extensively in regional and CALD communities, and collaborated with organisations including Business Victoria, Victoria University, the Brotherhood of St Laurence and numerous local councils. These experiences have shaped her inclusive, audience-first approach and her ability to adapt effortlessly to different rooms and formats.

Highly regarded for her preparation, professionalism and calm authority, Ailsa is adept at thinking on her feet, managing transitions, supporting speakers and keeping events on time without ever losing warmth or humour. Her style is engaging and polished without overshadowing the event itself—making her a trusted MC for conferences, awards nights, forums, panel discussions and special events.

Ailsa is a Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute, a Certified Practising Marketer and a Certified Speaking Professional. She is also a three-time published author and a long-standing judge for the Telstra Business Awards, Telstra Women’s Business Awards and the Australian Marketing Institute National Marketing Excellence Awards.

Away from the stage, Ailsa is a classically trained pianist, gypsy cellist and occasional tap dancer—creative pursuits that reflect her natural sense of timing, rhythm and performance.
